Pickup RequestScrap iron and steel buying
Scrap iron makes up the largest share of recycling by volume. It comes from demolition and renovation waste, old machinery, steel structures and farm equipment.
We collect your iron scrap where it is. For large amounts we come with a crane truck or machinery and work with a weighbridge ticket for tonnage jobs.
What determines the scrap iron price?
Iron scrap is graded as heavy scrap (thick sections, rails, machine bodies), light scrap (sheet, thin profiles, household items), turnings and cast iron. Heavy scrap fetches more. Mixed iron containing concrete, wood, plastic or other metals is valued according to the foreign matter.
The iron price follows the steel market, and the price per kilo improves with quantity.
Which iron scrap do we buy?
Rebar and formwork leftovers, steel profiles and beams, sheet and roofing material, machine and cast parts, warehouse racking, scaffolding, trailers and farm equipment, boiler and tank bodies.
Loading and access
Gathering the material close to where the vehicle can park before the pickup day saves time. We decide from photos whether long and heavy parts need a crane.
Who do we buy iron scrap from?
Construction and demolition companies, urban regeneration sites, factories and workshops, warehouses and logistics businesses, farmers and homeowners. We combine small amounts with our route, and for large demolitions and dismantling jobs we can leave a container on site.
