How do you protect time and material value in hotel dismantling done in a short off-season window? Step by step.
Hotel renovations usually happen off-season, in a limited time. A delay in dismantling shifts the whole project; good planning protects both the schedule and the value of the material removed.
Site visit and inventory
The first step is to walk through the hotel together and list the material that will come out grade by grade: air conditioning and VRF units, copper pipework, stainless kitchen equipment, aluminium frames, cables and panels.
Quote model
We offer two models: deducting the dismantling cost from the material, or pricing dismantling and material separately. Once the inventory is clear, the numbers show which is better.
Sequence
After electricity and gas lines are safely disconnected, the kitchen and laundry, air conditioning systems, pipework and frames are removed in that order. Working in blocks according to when construction teams arrive shortens the schedule.
Handover
The material is sorted on site and transported, and the area is handed back swept. A weighbridge ticket is issued for tonnage material.
