What is inside an air conditioner?
The outdoor unit contains copper pipe and a finned aluminium coil (condenser), a compressor and a fan motor. The indoor unit also has a copper-aluminium coil and a motor.
Do not dismantle it yourself
Opening the refrigerant line without authorisation is dangerous and releases refrigerant into the atmosphere. Taking the outdoor unit down from the wall also means working at height. Leave this to our team.
